ROB RUN system requirements, AVX2 and Linux
Short answer: ROB RUN needs 64-bit Windows 10 or later, 12 GB RAM, a GTX 1050 Ti-class GPU and 20 GB of space. Your CPU must support AVX2: without it the game crashes minutes in, and Kefir has said no fix is planned in the next few updates. Linux and Steam Deck do not work because the anti-cheat blocks Proton.

Why does ROB RUN crash without AVX2?
AVX2 is a CPU instruction set. Players with older processors (for example Xeon E5 v2 chips) get a warning at launch that AVX2 is missing; they can click through, reach the menu and even join a server, but the game crashes to desktop after about five minutes, often right after leaving the starting prison. Six forum threads report it.
Kefir's answer (developer reply, 4 November): no such fix is planned in the next several updates. If your CPU lacks AVX2, ROB RUN will not run reliably.
How to check: Intel Core processors from the 4th generation (Haswell, 2013) onwards and every AMD Ryzen support AVX2. Both minimum CPUs on the store page do. Tools like CPU-Z list "AVX2" under Instructions.
Does ROB RUN work on Linux or Steam Deck?
No. Steam lists Windows only. Under Proton the game stops with the Easy Anti-Cheat error "No anti-cheat module has been found for this game and platform". Players point out that Epic's anti-cheat supports Proton if the developer switches it on; Kefir has not done so or said it will. The same block applies to Steam Deck. Mac is not supported either.
Is ROB RUN on GeForce Now?
Not announced. Two forum threads ask Kefir to opt the game in to GeForce Now; there has been no reply.
Is there controller support or inverted mouse?
Players report that ROB RUN has no controller support and no inverted mouse option at launch, and that Steam's own settings cannot invert it either. Kefir has not commented. A community Steam guide covers camera stutter when moving the mouse.
